Lost access to MFA? Here's what to do

If you can no longer use your MFA method, the fastest recovery options are the ones you can do yourself.

Try your backup codes first

Each backup code works once. On the MFA prompt, choose Use a backup code and enter one of the codes you saved during setup.

If you still can''t sign in

Start the MFA account recovery flow. You will need to upload two government-issued IDs (for example, a driver''s license and a passport). Our support team will verify your identity and reset your MFA.

What to expect

  1. Submit the recovery form with your account email and two IDs.
  2. Receive a ticket number by email.
  3. Our team reviews your documents within one business day.
  4. After approval, you''ll receive an email with next steps to sign in and set up MFA again.

Prevent lockout

After you regain access, set up MFA again and store your new backup codes securely. Consider using an authenticator app that can be restored if you replace your device.
